Done some more of the vacuum tube and fuel lines.put alternator back in
All of the original "rubber" vacuum tube on the boost control solenoid was rock hard.. and I mean they felt like plastic.

That's a good tip.. I was terrified of breaking one on the nipple's on the manifold. I ended up cutting them off, carefully,with a blade.
 
Something that has been on my list for probably well over a decade at this stage has been a proper set of gauges. I've always had good gauges (Blitz, HKS etc) but always wanted a set of Defi.
So in anticipation of the Type R finally getting finished in the next few weeks (realistically a few months LOL ) I picked up a set of Defi BF Gauges with the control meter and all wires and sensors. Oil Temp, Oil Pressure, Water Temp and Boost. Fingers crossed it's an easy plug and play install.
