What did you do to your car today?

race rom mapped by Bob Rawle , twin maps , pulls harder than i imagined , 353 bhp and 403 torques from bobs software that estimates power based on weight of the car and a whole load of other stuff that he explained and i have forgotten , he's emailing the graph to me when he gets time , couldnt speak highly enough of him .

wow Tommy thats a great number for the books! 2.5 give great torque!!

a proper nice bloke isnt he

good day on all accounts

anyone know what the RB320 pulled

i am so happy with it Goosie as i was expecting 330-340 bhp , in an ideal world the aim was for 350/350 but 350/400 blew all expectations ,

your torque peaks a good 14/1500 rpm less than mine, mental driving potential

just dont rev here too high now :hammerhead:
no need to rev her hard , feels all low down in the range

The thing is it might not do those figures on an actual dyno

but who's to say the dyno you put it on is accurate, they vary so much its six of one and half a dozen of the other, one could read under and another one over bobs amount

that is a fact , kinda eager to do a run and see , looking forward to rolling road day ,

or i can bring it local and they will give me a graph for what i say is in it , :shhh:

sti Brian will love that remark

even if i did put mine on a roller its a know fact that rollers HATE autoboxes and it wouldn't read right and i would come out with a print out waaaaay bellow its real output

ill just have to accept bobs graph as 100% concrete fact

Why would an auto read different to a manual on the rollers?
Something to do with the torque converter I'm guessing , I think couture are the only ones that do autos if I remeber correctly

yeah i think thats what i have been told actually, from all the RR threads i have seen autos always come off with suicidal results

Does that mean the wheel horsepower will be accurate, it just can't estimate the engine power due to the torque converter?
