What did you do to your car today?

I funked up the thread last time I changed the disks and tried drilling it out but kinda made a balls of it and was never really happy with it . So said I'd just replace it .

Never seen one of them mats in black keith

Was it a new caliper you got

Forgot about that bottle
I think I'll fill it full of vodka and plumb a straw into the drivers seat lol

Assembled a new key out the old blade new body and second hand back .

Not easy but doable due to key been sealed into the main body of the key .

How you did it tommy ? I want to swap my old blade into new body but blades are sealed very solid :wall:

I just broke the blade out of the old body . Popped out the transponder and buttons 2 .

Then I cut the top plastic piece off the blade in the new body . Extremely sharp knife done it .

Sat in the blade and glued the plastic piece back on over the blade . Let it dry and reassembled .

Getting the transponder out it tricky 2 . As the battery assembly is sat just over it and means you have to pop it out sideways .

Kinda sorry I didn't take step by step photos as it seems a common problem and a guide would have been good to have in tec section .

How in d name of God can you keep the underneath of your bug that clean on Irish roads,????

I fitted my new pressed plates today, looks a bit tidier as the old plastic ones were looking a bit grubby! Also lost one of my mud flaps :icon_sad: I'll have to take the rest off tomorrow! Also bought a low rise spoiler for a bit of a change, gonna throw that on tomorrow!
