Hey dude plates look the bee's, one very very small point on the new plates and to be honest you would want to meet one he'll of a pri*k of a guard. Your missing the Áth Cliath on top of your plate. it's potentially €1300 of a fine.

As I said Anto you would want to meet one pri*k of a guard, my number plates have always fractured the limits, but are clearly legible. I have been told to change them or face a fine. Each time I said I would change but never bothered.

I keep my old rectangular plates in the boot just in case but I have asked a lot of cops about my Japanese style ones and they are alright with them because singable the blue EU stars and county name in Irish on them.

Cheers for the heads up man! I might try get a sticker made up with baile atha cliath just to avoid any hassle! I have yet to be pulled over once in the year I have the car so don't want to go changing that now :thumbsup:

@sheriff: I think the high rise on it now was painted by a previous owner and tbh the paint isn't excellent on it that's part the reason I'm taking it off! I'll be keeping the bootlid though!
 
went for a blast and when I got back I spotted that the top windscreen seal was missing, must have be goin too fast:desismileys_6328:

Fitted the low rise after work! I prefer it to the high rise but think I'll have to take it back off or else get a new bootlid as paint was a bit marked under the spoiler!
