Hehe. Those are not mad cars :)
I am on a market for something new, that's why I am testing some machines on my list.
Other day (Thursday) was testing 161 a6 with 3l diesel.
Must say I was impressed with torque. It was full sline inside and out, black edition, Quattro.
But too big for me. Plenty of power, but suspension, even in dynamic mode, was very soft and not that "sure" to drive.

I will get bigger post after testing last car from my list and after I will get STI for longer than hour. Think it will be fair to compare all of them after I tested them for similar distance driven.
 
Probably financially more reasonable to move north and comute than to pay vrt, insurance and tax south :facepalm:
 
Got this bag in the post today. Handy for storage in the boot. Putting polish and cleaning stuff in or cans of octane booster either.

Got new rims, now the car sits really good.

Ispiri WRC1 / FIA stamped / 17s ET35 / EJ7.5 with pirelli Pzero in 225/45

And they weight nothing love them :D

Got car back this evening done a great job getting bumper sorted and in two minds to leave badges off??

Nice one. Who did the respray btw? Blended it really well by the looks of it.

How's it going a lad I grew up with has his own garage in coolock think he goes under plasti works he is a panell beater by trade but does plastic repair bumper cracks and stuff any broken splitters he's worth a shot also very good at bringing paint back to life.

He blended bumper in and redone scoop and boot lid the boot had a fair bit of rust spots under wing so that got taken back and rust treated the boot looks a shade darker on flat so he said he ain't happy and is going to use a different base coat and redue it again. I looked that long at it I didn't know what to think but could see it this morning ya can only see it in sunshine overall very happy and it's only a small thing he's going to do up a few test pieces so will see how that goes

Just picked up the boot panel from Ricks. Will hopefully fit it myself after work this evening. the old one had a crack so was less hassle to buy this one and just respray. It is from the facelift model so a different style to the one on the car already. will post up before and after pictures when it's installed.
