What do You think?

I can see it!

For the 2.5 Motor, Gearbox and Brembos, it's worth it!
She crying for a bigger turbo,

But, with the way things are, and if it's just a track car, I would hold out for an Type R or RA with good track specific spec!
Their should be a few out there at good money!

Dan

Thanks Dan,
if any of You know a good car for track please let Me know.
Preferable : 2.2 stroke engine, 6speed gearbox

Thanks, shown Him already but no 6speed. He says 5 speed gearbox breaks easy to compare to 6. is that right?

Indeed!
the 6 is a good bit stronger than the 5's
They recon 400+ is touch and go for the 5 speed! 600 with the 6 speed
Bigger clutch of the 6 would be better aswell!
Dan

400 is about max for a 5 speed type-r DCCD (plated centre diff) box... sti 5 speed box's may get near but won't last quite as well... wrx boxes won't see much past 300 and life expectancy is short at that...

Early non dccd 6 speeds have a weak front open diff, later six speeds (05 sti wide track on) with dccd are the ones to get, strongest of the lot apart from hawk spec c boxes..

Yeas, that's what He keeps sayin'. He mostly does tracks are not so fast but lots of turns. Called "mini rally" and subarus weak point is mostly the 5 spped gearbox.Or the break. Or the clutch.

What kinda power car is he looking for 200+ 300+ 400+ ? and what tracks

to be quiet honest, i wanted a trackcar that would be a type r with 400+
but a 200+ impreza wrx with 4pots that costs nothing would get the same thrills.

when i had the type r out, i drove the shite off it but took a bit of care not to reck it....well i didnt care really cos of the adrenaline .
And would have been really pissed if i did any sort of damage.

and when id the wrx out that i didnt care about, i had more crack in the wrx that was slower and cornerd worse than the type r.

but if he has plenty cash to spend

Personally, if i was getting a car for track only, then it would more than likely be something other than a subaru... Plenty of better balls out track cars for sale in the uk for good money..
