Mine was everyday car, but not anymore.

I drive 350-400 miles a week with work and it was killing me on fuel.
Have a transporter for the week, and scooby for the weekend, not even within 150 miles of work so at least im not lookin out the window at it mon-fri!
Can't wait to get home on fridays to take it for a spin! :subaru:

my scoob was off the road for the last 9 months & i was driving a 96 1.2 corsa BUT SHE IS BACK ON THE ROAD AGAIN thank f@@k brought it 2 scoobyfest ... had a great day & it was a great trip

It sorted out my bad case of CORSAITIS............

Mine was never meant as a daily but I bring it everywhere. Mechanical sympathy is a pain in the hole, spend more time idling it driving it handy, cooling it than I ever do driving it on. Starting to wonder is short runs advisably though for engine wear even though I drive off boost below 3k till water temp and more important oil temps come up.

Bit off topic but amazed at lack of mechanical sympathy some people have for daily drivers

daily driver for the last year , always had work van before the recession took hold , but will be back as weekend car in not to distant future once i have nct on the 106

Don't you get 600 miles to a tank tommy, the 106 will probably get worse mpg than your little non-turbo.. :icon_nana:

Your car is a daily driver Tommy, You get amazing mpg, cheap insurance so its just like a ford focus in that way... In fact, i'd say a 1.6 focus would give you a good race... Mine is for weekend enjoyment, it might only be one weekend a year, but what a weekend that will be :icon_nana:

This is what your signature says tommy...

"Six stars gleaming, five speeds breaking, four tires chirping, three differentials working, two liters screaming, one turbo boosting... it's what makes a Subaru all-wheel-drive, all we'll drive."

How exactly do you know what one turbo boosting feels like? Just cause you drive around arklow shouting 'Whatisssshhhhhh" out the window pretending you have a turbo with a DV, you think you know it all   ..

As for Jamie, must be 4 years now since your subaru has seen the light of day... And now you drive around in gay ass evo's.. It sickening really.. :puke: :puke:
