NCT is up in November but hoping she will get a fresh one.
Full Clifford with Blackjax.

Thanks.

In todays market you'd be luck to get 11,000 for her and that one in good nick, but if your in no rush and wait for the right buyer to come along around 14,000 but that would be near garage price for her. Terriable the way the market has gone.

It is Eric. At that price I will probably have to hold onto it.

Although there are some 98s on carzone with slightly higher mileage going for close to 14k. :dontknow:

I was offered 9 k on a trade in with C&R,

Andy a lot of them 14k have been there for months. There going for even less then 9k on the english markts.

Cheers lads. Just an idea bouncing around in my head. Ideally I would like to move on before she hits the 100,000km mark.

I think an 02 bugeye in black is my next one but there are feck all black ones about.

The "regret" thing had crossed my mind as the Type R is such a great car and stupidly fast at accelerating. But how do I move up in the years and still keep the "rawness" of the type R?

simple you put a 2.5 bottom end on with a TD05 20g..forget about your reg number....350bhp and the handling of the type r what more could you want

Not sure what you're considering Andy, but I know at one stage JohnM was considering a part exchange on his 02 Prodrive Style against a tidy classic. Might be worth a look :dontknow:

I had considered contacting John but he is looking for 21k for his. I cant afford that even with part exchange.

I think I will hold onto her until the new year then reassess.

Andy I also went and test drove a few new scoobys all sti's. No harm I was greatly disapointted! I was so happy getting back into my own car and driving home. As the lads said, bigger bottom end and turbo, and than be all smiles! I really think Im going to keep mine and keep modifying!

I went from a TypeRA (which as you know is a Four door typeR really) to my MY02 STi prodrive and I love the Bug. She isn't as aggressive but I like that for every day driving. I think the Bug is the best car I've had. I didn't use the DCCD that much anyway so do really mind not having it anymore. If your planing on tracking the car keep the typeR if not go for Bug. I don't think you'll regret it. I didn't.

If you want to drive my Bug sometime give me a shout and I'll give you a look see what you think.

There are loads of them in England at the minute and a few are Prodrive style to and with the sterling at the price it is now you cann't go wrong. Bring one in. But if your not stook on Black there a Prodrive style on carzone that just needs a C.V. joint which the lad is going to do before he sells it. It's been lying up for a while as he cann't sell her but thats the only reason. I was to look at her before I bought mine but I fell in love with the black one.

Here she is. Looks good. She's a typeUK to.

I agree Eric the prodrive sti bugeye is a lovely machine and was tempted that route myself, love the front wrap around bumpers. The I checked out the vrt co2 based and its just gone crazy, they are more expensive than a 04 blobeye I think at about 9k for a 02, this is just from memory so could be out a couple of hundred but its up again that price to vrt one.

Thanks Eric. I will take you up on that offer at some stage.

There seems to be loads of black ones for sale in the UK and hardly any over here.

I was also looking at this one.

Its is an Irish car and also only 6000miles which seems a bit low for an '02

I'd say thats a miss print. I'd say it has 60,000 which would be in around the average for MY02 bugs when I was looking. If it had only 6000 happy days but I wouldn't think so.
