definitely a super charger looks like a fairly big turbo at the rear so id say its there to help spool the big turbo and help low down torque

So, it's something like the VW's 1.4? Super charger for low rev and around 3,5 the turbo takes over the job?

Not a great place for the air filter? I mean, how does it get a good flow of cold air back there?

Its close enough to where the tmic used to be so maybe he has a bigger scoop to take more cold air in or has modified it in someway so that the air coming through the scoop is aimed more towards the bulkhead
