Petrolheads
I've never gotten anything off them before but asked them for a quote on some stuff for me. im wondering if you could tell me if it would be good for me to order these parts??

Primary Decat downpipe: £175
Secondary Downpipe: £205
Decat centre pipe: £105
Backbox: £265

this all adds up to: £750

Now for all the Euro users:€921

All comments wanted, Cheers

Why are you getting the secondary decat as well?? Thats already decatted unless the auto is different to manual....

Anyway, I have a Hayward and scott system on mine, I got the primary downpipe, centre section and back box off them... I got the 3.5 inch tailpipe on the back box as apart from the 4.5... The 3.5 is ideal for the daily driver as its not in your face, end of the world loud, but there's still plenty of noise when you give it some welly and it's a great sound...

I found them very easy to deal with by phone & email and they even managed to get it to me within a week as i had a deadline to meet so i could get the car mapped... Would definitely recommend them...

Also very good with the price of sterling now...

Had one on my 99Type R. A lovely bit of kit, nice weld and a sexy deep rumble . Orderd it direct off them, no problems

Regards
Mike

and this is definately the official site?

it didnt say i was getting the secondry decat, just said downpipe in the e-mail.

Both the downpipes are in shite at the lower end of it, obviously from ramps and stuff and them scratching off them.

Davelegacy said that he could heat wrap them and get them back to normal but i was thinking of just getting new ones just to have them mint again, so have been doin me research and the syms sports and zero sports are very expensive so said :hjtwofinger: to that,
so got a recommendation off uklegacy to try hayward and scott and they came back with this.

Thats the website alright.... Their number is 0044 1268 727256 Talk to Ian who is the manager and theresa is the girl on the reception desk... They charged me £45 sterling for shipping... and just so you know, i dont think those prices above include VAT at 17.5%

Yeah your right there dude, excluding shipping and vat. But sure i might be able to get them across so mightnet be too bad. but at theose prices i think its very good, esp when syms were selling only the downpipes for a little bit more than that amount!!

You're dead right there, and there is a lovely deep sound out of them too... Would you consider going for the full 3inch system seeing as you're going for all the rest as well?? All you need to add in is the Y-pipe where the 2 downpipes meet... Might be worth looking into..

So what way does that work,
normal = downpies to centre section to exhaust??

and the one your talking bout downpipes to y pipe to centre section to exhaust?

not sure of the ins and outs of these things!!

Basically im looking for a nice loud leggy!!!

Have a 3.0" centre section with a 4.0" back box and have a lovely rumble on second turbo but just nice quiet for normal driving. There products are quality and really well priced.

all sounds mad,

i could de-cat and heatwrap for less then that..

The system goes 2 downpipes into a Y-pipe piece which attaches to the centre section and then the backbox on 3rd generation leggy's... Thats why if you went 3 inch you'd have to get the Y-pipe as well...

I am up the northside, not far from balbriggan if you're still working there... I'll pm you my number and you can drop up some evening during the week if you like...
