Whats your hobby

All things car related... mainly my Project build. :subaru:

And music too... being playing guitar for bout 20 years in a few different bands... and spend a bit of time making/repairing electric guitars.

Can you fix the neck of my V Jamie. It was knocked over by the little fella, fell flat down and the neck came away at the top with the impact. It's not a great make but it was a present from Elaine and I kinda like it.
 
TBH Eric... I gave up doing large repair work like that as I just don't have the workshop to do it in anymore. I basically spent 2 years in Leeds College of Music making/repairing guitars and managed to get 3 guitars/basses built from scratch... all of which where aboiut 90% completed before I lost interest due to lack of funds/time.

I only recently got back into working on them... but have given up doing major repairs like you need done mainly due to just lack of time and somewhere suitable to work . Poor Aoife has had to put up with me hogging the kitchen table for the last month as I repaired a Les Paul of mine... and her patience is beyond wearing thin.

I know a guy that would fix it for you if you where interested... but a neck repair like that is a pricey thing to get done, and also depends on how badly damaged or how clean break it was. If you're still keen to get it looked at... let me know. :thumbsup: Maybe PM me a pic of break too and I can advice you better.
 
ive a few different hobbies

but the main ones would be rallying and rally cars but i do play football, abit of gaa and squash and i love walking the dog down the beach

Last year i got as far as making the neck and sound board for an acoustic guitar but i had no bending iron to do the sides,some day ill pick up were i left off

Was making it out of spalted beech and walnut
 
I have a farm here(seriously-a real one!!!!) so outside of work thats a bit of a hobby. Used to make airfix models and would like to again,and I collect good scale models of cars too. The odd pint and few games of pool too.

im on a 3 day week so i took up photography, always wanted to do it so i said why not and........... i love it

I have 1x 260L and 1x 37L and the wall tanks is still for sale

What part are you from?
 
I like the gym (3 times a week), also like french and that takes up 2 more nights so that doesnt leave time for much else.
In between that, all things car related and cool electronic gadgetry.
 
Love fishing did a lot of pike fishing but I just don't get a chance now with the new shop and the little lad.

I love cars but couldn't repair the simplest thing by myself. Subaru is My first favourite but I can't remember how it became the No1
I spend lots time with My boxer dog , walking,training Her. The strange thing is 2 years ago when I We bought Her I said to the missus- "Ok, We get the dog but it will never Be allowed in the house !!!" - She is sleeping on My feet while typing
Also like My job. But it took Me 10 Years to start to like it :icon_lol:
 
i used to do a lot of fishing, sea in the summer and pike in the winter. ive been into radio communications for years, mostly monitoring hf and aeronotical and the odd bit of dxing.
for the last few years ive been renovating the house and gardens room by room and from what ive learnt in my own house means i usualy get caught to do work in other ppls houses.
one neighbour calls me fred west and the other nicknamed me chelsea flower show cause im allways digging, planting and changing the garden around.
