A builder in Kilcullen built and sold two houses right were a ring road was supposed to be,
The two houses have a near duel carriage way as a driveway!

there really is some cowboys out der , :new_2gunsfiring_v1:

The 3rd pic down with the houses !!

Now reverse that order....... ie. Your House is aprox 10 feet below street level and the builder
in his wisdom runs a drive steeper than 45 degree angle to your front door , in fact the angle was so steep
you actually had to step down off the drive way on to the door matt then back up into the house.

...................Well that is EXACTLY what happened on buying my first house , in a new Estate built by a very
well know, very well respected Cork Builder.

The Drive was put down a week before we called to do the snag list , you can only imagine Our shock .

And to top it all off , When i asked to see the builder straight away , he called down stood on the Drive and Wanted to know
what all the fuss was about....................then refused point blank to fix it and then stated he had no intention of dealing with me
anymore till i camled down. :shock2: :shock2: :shock2: .............and simply walked off !!

It was an awful pitty he didn't wait :icon_biggrin: :icon_biggrin: because He would of heard me explain about all the work we do for
the Health & Saftey office here in Cork :multijump:....................... needless to say the issue was sorted ASAP .

Still though it's simply off the wall what some builders think (or at least try to get away with )

Niall.

You must have a pic of the driveway before he fixed in!

There are driveways like the above pic in naas!
I leveled the driveway to about 20deg (about 1:4 incline) so he could get his car onto the driveway withou hitting his bumper, and we needed 8 steps to get up to the front door!
24 tonnes of soil was removed from the job!
