Where Are all the type r scoobies gone??

Looking for a clean type r on donedeal the last while and havnt saw any
Are they gettin rare
whats the goin rate for clean type r these days

They're hens teeth in this country now.... they don't really exist. Most have been hacked to bits or have some hidden damage somewhere.

A few members on here have searched for months on end and turned up nothing looking for clean ones. Any nice examples here just don't come up for sale anymore as people are wise to what they have and seem to be hanging onto them if they can afford to.

Best bet is SVA Imports in the UK... but they're big bucks... 6-8k sterling before you import it and pay the duty... but they seem to be the cleanest ones available without importing direct yourself from Japan which isn't an option with weak Euro and strong Yen.
 
Clean ones for sale don't exist in this country, any good ones have been locked away by their owners. Spent 8 months looking at donedeals version of "mint" last year and didn't find one that wasn't crashed.
 
i'd imagine around 5k for a clean one. :ponder2:

man i must of been lucky i got a type-r v-limited from a former member on here and its incredibly clean.
 
I had a minter of a version 3 type-r in white, absolutely original and very well kept inside, outside and under bonnet, but that meant absolutely nothing to people over here, all lads here wanted was the big spoiler, and 2pot rear breaks!
Sold it to a lad in the uk for decent money, better that than listening to fellas here tellin u there coming to look at the car and never show, better known as time wasters!

Hey lad if it's any good to you I know someone with a type r shell.it seems straight enough too..if you were interested I coult ask him would he consider selling it? When you say type r I presume you mean coupe?
 
Yeah dylanb... Type R is the coupe... not to be mistaken with the 1.5 coupe though too. What sort of money has he got on it and any pics of it?

I'm not sure I will see him over the weekend and will ask him...I have a 1.5 coupe myself hope to have a tubo motor in it next year..
 
iv just got a newjob (finally :cool:) and ill be on the hunt for a Type R in the next few months, but my god there are none!!!! like all good cars in ireland they get wrecked and no tlc....makes me sad. S14's have gone the same way along with any sort of evo etc....imo
