Where has my horsepower gone ?

I recently bought a 00 reg irish WRX and decided to confirm its HP before I did any modifications to it. Car is running fine and with standard exhaust but the rolling road (martin treacy) is indicating 200 HP. Were these expected to produce 220hp with the standard exhaust ?. There is a k&n filter fitted and car was recently serviced. I have a full decat exhaust for it but dont want to fit it as its too loud. Any ideas how to recover the lost horses ? .
 
you may see a power loss due to wear and tear etc and most importantly not servicing the car properly and regularly.

Keep it well serviced with good fluids and parts and it should keep most of it's power for a while.
 
20bhp drop is not bad. Dont forget the engine is 11 years old.

Why not fit the decat?. It wont be that much louder, especially if you have standard back box.

how many miles on the car??
and how was the boost on the print out?? if losing boost it would indicate a loss in power

Does the standard back box offer much resistance or would it defeat the advantages of fitting the decat .Also would the car need to have a remap if fitting the straight through pipe ?.

Car is showing 88k miles and the boost is showing pretty constant at 1 bar across the graph.
 
was it not 212bp on this model?

And at wat boost was this at?? some of these models got boost spike so restrictor pills will drilled out to calm boost by dealers so was boost only at 0.7 or 0.8 bar?
