WHERE HAVE ALL THE GOOD STI,s GONE

Had the pleasure of a few laps of the ring as a passenger in a r26r megane in 2009 with a ring veteran at the wheel and it was one of the best handling machines I have ever been in, nothing overtook us in the five laps and we overtook everything including a test driver for jaguar out in an xf, doesnt have the praticality of a sti but if I doing many track days id buy it over anything else, heres to dreaming anyway
 
Did you get sorted My one will be going for a full re-spray and hopefully i use it more
this year and less of the motorbike :icon_biggrin:

on the ball baz, he owns a restaurant in clonmel, a friend of my brothers friend, they all had cars over there in the good times, he had the r26 r, another one had a white litchfield 2004 sti (went boom i believe), another one had a m3 csl, the brother had honda integra type r, went around the ring in a few different cars but nothing compared to the r26r with him driving it, a complete fooking nutter but some pilot
 
I drove that car he offered my a lap of the ring in it so we jumped in and as I was driving in to go out on track was about ten past seven in the evening, the Marshall pulled the barrier across I was fucking raging but then that guy said sure take it down to adenau for the spin so I did great car doesn't feel that quick but fu*k it could handle. Very sound fella I can't remember his name he had a 911 aswell at that time he was all chat nice to meet sound lads while away like that

u missed out unfortunately,his name is michael (surname is german), trust me when i say with him driving that car was insane on the ring, but he is nuts, but a savage pilot and knows the ring inside out , he did however crash a rented 911 gt3 (ouchh) serious bill, he has had a few porsches, rs4 etc's but a really sound man, just make sure your life insurance is up to date if you go for a lap with him
 
Ye I think was saying. He could lap it in 8.20, that day he was letting me drive it very sound fella
 
Sound lad , was yapping away to us there in September .
