Which Car Advice Please Lads (not a subaru lol)

Right ladies and gentlemen the miss's is buying a new car and she is not sure which one to get, the 1.6 Diesel or the 1.4 Petrol

Hyundai i30 1.6 CRDI

Wouldnt be massive milage, just motorway driving from town to balbriggan and the odd trip to kerry.

Id go for a diesel as well, A cousin of mine bought a kia ceed 1.6 diesel last year, getting 55-60 mpg, 110bhp and they now qualify for the cheaper tax band,

+1 on the Kia Cee'd in that style/ size of car, much nicer/sportier looking, not a fan of Hyundai

I'd go with the diesel mate, my dad has a 1.9 CRDI Sonata and its a great engine, full tank lasts two weeks or about 600 - 700 kilometers! I can only imagine what the 1.6 is like!!!

Hyundai looks well with big wheels on it but i ve driven a santa fae before and it was rubbish so wouldnt be keen.
The 7 year Kia warrenty would tempt me alright though.

my girlfriend has anew ford focus deisel and its doin 1000 average kilometres to 60 euro that cant be bad and i work for a ford garage they dont give trouble and by far the best handling none performance car on the road´, my opinion

My sister has an i30 Diesel and its a very nice car. Comfortable, spacious and if i remember correct she averages about 50mpg.

Diesel, and offer them 20% less than what they are asking and I still think they would wrestle your mother in a bath of mud naked for your money.
