Which front shocks to go for?

I have recently found out that I have a front shock gone. I am thinking of changing both of them because the other side will probably go soon enbough too. So I am just wondering what type of shock to go for? Does anybody have any idea the best ones to buy. I am for some more info because I wouldn't know a huge amount about them :thumbsup:

As regards to business going out of ireland;
I have my own business and i support all my locals be it €5 or €1000 i spend with them, as i would like them to support me likewise!

My local garage is doing the work on my car and he himself told me to source them in the UK due to the cost of them here, my garage is fitting them and is getting paid for the labour and as well is getting my car ready for da NCT.

€430 per shock vs €270 a pair before fitting cost.....

Dont make sense! Classic case of RIPOFF Ireland!
 
Just looked on camskill.co.uk and saw these

These are going for around €144 (Front Shocks so €72 each)

But I have Tein Super Street Damper all around. Now check out these front shocks from Ireland

They are going for €895 (for all corners so about €220 each)

I know the Tein are better but that is some crazy difference. They are without upper mounts too because I pressume I can just keep me own upper mounts and use them again........can't I? :icon_biggrin:

Is €895 the price that I will be looking at for new front shocks if I keep Tein? Does anybody know anywhere else that do them cheaper?
 
Unfortunately in the times we're in some lads have no choice but o go out side of Ireland due to the crazy pricing over here. It was a Subaru Dealer that told me about these shocks.
