Which Tyre's

What do you think of ps4 you have at moment are you searching for more grip or thinking something for track or ring trip
Very Happy with PS4.
Plenty of grip.
Just looking for next step up for track/ring.

I've a set of Gold Enkeis that'd suit track wheels. One is missing a center cap.

Seán McManus tyres in Drogheda can get Michelin SuperSport in 235/45/17.
Email sent to Sean McManus tyres.
Going to get back to me Monday.

I’ll PM you in relation to the wheels.

Cup 2 but very hard got in 17

Yeah nothing to compare different index ratings to.

I might go down the track wheel and 888 route.

Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 Connect 225/45 R17 94 Y XL, ZR €168
Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 Connect Tyre 225/45 R17 94 Y PSC2 XL C €179

Would 225 affect much compared to 235 ?
Did UK/Irish Widetrack come in 225 and JDM Widetrack 235 as standard.

What is Connect ?

94 Y XL, ZR ?

The 888's on Wrx were R888 215/45R17 91 W (5X100 Sti Wheel).

Not a massive amount of difference. Mostly looks. 235 is 0.3 inches taller and 0.3 inches wider than 225, but depending on the tyre you go for, a 225 of a certain tyre could have a larger contact patch than a 235 of a different tyre. E.g. 225 R888's could potentially have a bigger contact patch than say a 235 AD08RS.

Connect is just the sensor technology that the tyre is capable of using. It's another couple hundred of quid for that equipment and gives you live temp and pressure monitoring etc.

As above think they all come as conect even if you don’t select it as you don’t need it .
225 was standard as far as I know

Widetrack is 235 , narrow track 225 we chatted in a previous post above .
Best off putting the correct size as you’ll have more grip

Can’t seem to see cup2 in that size but I’ll keep looking for you

Ad08rs

Yeah the 225 on the cup2 seems to be the only available or maybe 235 is a common size and not available at the minute

I'll throw in my 2 cents
1. Check out the Eagles F1 Aymmetric 6 - I got a set for the Cupra and as a road tyre, it's way nicer than the Micheline Pilot Sport 4S that was on the car previously. Really good dry grip and excellent in the wet. Way more comfortable than the MPS4S
2. Michelin Pilot Sport 5 is now available in some sizes. Worth enquiring about them.
3. Outright track tyre on a separate set and another set for road use. Having a tyre to do both is going to be a compromise on both sides of that equation. I have the MPS4 on the daily rims and AD08R on the track alloys.
4. Check out the Nangkang ones as well as they were excellent in the dry on another Subaru that I drove. Not that great in the wet though.
