You came up behind me, I flashed my hazards to say hello. Would've givin it a bit of a run but my girlfriend was naggin my earhole off and i was desperately close to running out of petrol so i wasnt out of 5th gear the whole way. I was desperatly trying to get to the petrol station in river valley. Where is the shortcut if you take the left off the roundabout rather when i went straight cause you must've come out way ahead of me?

that left off the roundabout brings u up by knocksedan and if u go right after that into swords manor. (thats if its the same roundabout were talkin about..??)
 
Dunno if it was male or female. Didnt get a chance to look properly. Was at about 7.15pm if that helps. The roundabout is the one that will take you out around the back of swords towards ballyboughal if you turn left and if you go right then it will eventually take you out to the old swords road at the coachmans but has a turn off that will take you up past forrest little golf club. The car went left, i went right and then past forrest little and it came out ahead of me
 
when you take the left off the roundabout straight away there is a turn to the right that puts you on a road that runs paralel to the main road. it runs down past the back of the radar site that would have been on your left. not much of a shortcut and the road itself is in bits with potholes
 
Just after finding it there on google maps. Might save me some time on the way home from work... always trying to beat the personal best...
 
yeah i turn left off the roundabout and head down towards knocksedan, trough applewood and end up at blakes cross.......try to stay off the main roads as much as possible when goin to work.......less stressfull :thumbsup:
