As above lads I have a full anti lift kit from whiteline ready to be fitted to my car thanks to John M's genorousity. Thanks John.

On problem is it has no fitting instructions and I haven't a clue even where on the car the go or bit they replace. :ponder2:

Can anyone help a fella out? :dontknow:

have never done a set eric but i would reckon a ramp is needed !!!!!
pm jomo and he'll give ya the info i guess!!!
doing a set soon on my own but not till summer!!!

i fitted mine. Handy job, just replace the the existing on the end of the wishbone where it pivots on the under carriage. I did mine just using a jack but would be handy to have a lift. Makes a great job of the car, great upgrade.

are they easy to get off the wishbone i have a set but looked like they are fairly tight sorry for hijacking the thread eric

PM me your number, and I will call you. The newage has a subframe, and is quite different.

John

Just recently fitted them to my classic.
Pretty hard goin on your back with the car jacked up but well worth the result.
You'll need a Torque wrench for fitting though as bolts to chassi are very tight and once the kit is fitted you need to re torque the bolts to chassi

ALK replace the stock factory transverse link bushing mounts with redesigned units that will prove better toe control at speed/braking and crisper turn-in as well as change the suspension geometry by adding additional positive caster.

Basically it eliminates the understeering... and increases steering response and better turn-in characteristics. Great upgrade!

This is what the Anti lift kit looks like

Thats not what I got off John.

He said it was an anti lift kit.

It's all nuts, washers bolts and yellow covers. :ponder2:

I'll have to get it the weekend lads as the car is in a top secret location in Dublin and I'm in the curragh. :icon_cry:

Don't think so. I had a look on the white line site and don't think it's them. Two parts are the same as another two and these screw into one another and have a ball joint either end that a bolt goes through. There are yellow covers for the ball joints " I think"

Sounds like your describing these spherical bearing drop links
