who says Subarus can't be frugal.

240 miles to 70 euros normal driving with a few blasts here and there is what the legacy does and the wagon does 500 klm for 70 euros driving it handy all the time :dontknow:.

For people with a smart or Android fones download the mileage app and every time u fill up put in the amount of fuel to fill and price and uer mileage and it'll do it all for u. After a few fills ull be able to tell which fuel stations are giving you the best value fuel in average driving. My 00 wagon is doing 22mpg on average, best 25 and worst was 20mpg. :goodjob:

30.83mpg I've gotten.......not good. Mental note: must put foot down more.

It's 2002 bug wrx

As it happens - young lad asked me today in a petrol station as I was pay:

"How much will that do to the gallon?"

"48 mg..... :) " I say :scoobyblue_1:

Well - it's like that old saying - If you have to ask how much it is, you can't afford it :multijump:

Best ive seen is 37 mpg driving from cork to dublin 110 km in 5th all the way (except a good blast off the toll) not very exciting but good to know it can do it.

My best was 30.60 or so after a solid tune. But that was on a road trip, keeping around 70mph almost the whole way. Averaging 27mpg over the course of around 6,000 miles round trip.

Well done on 33mpg . I wondered would 30mpg be beaten and it seems a lot of guys have achieved it.
Better fuel can be got in Britain and the continent. 102 octane i seen around the corner from the Ring. Also the free flowing motorway traffic helps where you can keep you speed constant except for the dreaded tolls over there. I noticed a much better mileage figure in diesel cars especially. Up to 10mpg better than normal driving here. :turbo:
