nothing worse than time wasters, buyers or sellers, irish or foreign

atleast you got the day out in the scooby

My man Phil has a little beauty of a 00 hdi 206 with only 50K+ miles.
I thinks she's a 1.9 and I was very tempted recently.

Cheers, P

You will only get caught this way the once Ger, You can narrow your search down more the next time
I cant think of anything around at moment like that

I feel your pain, drove nearly 4 hours to the most westerly point of Cork a number of years ago to look at a "mint" type ra...only to find out the head gasket was gone...and the forestry tyres that were still on it gave a good indication of what the car had been used for previously :angry1:

same happened to me last week. went to met a guy as he wanted to buy my sound system rang him when i was in cork and he said he be down in 15mins and well never came.

i was well pissed!

nothin as bad dont mind the journey if its good but when its the opposite jus look around local for summit for her she wants a diesel 206 3dr or a 3dr diesel mk4 golf hard find summit when ya need it

I get all my cars in Gaeltacht and always do all the wheeling and dealing through Gaeilge- good pedigree car assured and never got a dodgy motor this way

This country is full of time wasters, one lad offered me 2 grand for my car and i told him no way and he said, ah i thought u were stuck to sell it and u wud take it but i suppose u cant blame them for chancing their arm but nothing as bad as when u travel a long journey to look at a so called mint motor and it a pile of krap, do these people actually think their car is mint :ponder2: :ponder2:

1., sorry for Your day wasted , I know how it feels like. Once I drove to Drogheda from Athlone to view a car.Talk to the men before left from home and when got there His phone was off.

2., That means You wouldn't buy the wagon from Me? : ( only joking )
