As above, following on from a suggestion from 1 of the lads on here I think Ive settled on a set of 17" gold milleniums for the type r. I got a price of £730 delivered from revolution in england, but I'd prefer to give some of our home companys a twist if I could.

That is a very dear uk price!

Going rate for those rims only is 400pounds plus postage.

I got two sets in a few years back (17 + 18) they were less than 1200euro.

Ya I was thinking that meself, wanted to check around here first

sterling rate as is has pused the price up a bit alright from couple years ago. As we were nearly 1 euro to 1 pound then. back down at 1 euro for 78p now. So does effect things.

and theres only one way its going by looks of euro , back to the days of 1€ to .68£

Was on to revolution this morning.
1034euro delivered for 18inch wide track alloys!!!

Some difference from when I bought my last set.

Would there be any issues with rubbing using 18's on a standard type r?
Would 18's slow a car down much?

18s not recommended for a classic.

Same wheel come in 17. Why not go 17?

No issues but be running a 215/35/18 tyre. Not ideal unless your 100% on good roads all the time.

17's best all round on a classic.
