Will sti springs fit a wrx. blobeye model .

Right lads . recently bought my self a 03 blobeye wrx. Its got lowering springs in at the min and i find it too low .
A friend of mine offered me is sti springs that he took out of his. .
Just wondering would they fit and would they be a good job . e.g comfyish

think they'll fit once they are not from a 2005 on widetrack car ,

Maybe check with one the traders
 
and of course it is from a 05 wide track model. :icon_sad:
I was getting them for nothing so thought it might be worth a shot .
Was talking to dave in sti tuning and he said best job would to be a straight swop wrx unit for a sti unit .
 
try a few breakers yards for the springs out of a crashed/breaker wrx maybe be easiest option ,
 
ah yea . just wanted it to sit a little lower than the standard wrx spring and was thinking an sti spring .
i wonder has anyone tried the sti spring on a wrx shock .
am sure somebody will be along soon.

Sti springs don't fit Wrx models of new age but Sti to Sti even wide track to non wide track do. I took a set off a non wide track and sold them to an Sti hawk owner who fit them with no issua.

Doesn't help you though Stewy.
