My prob is as above as it doesn't totally clear wit heater on full blast but was told today by a lad at work dat da prob was a filter under da plastic cover under windscreen wipers was clogged and get it changed. So when i came home from work took off wipers and took off da cover but no sign of a filter anywhere?? Wud really appreciate any info as is really annoying me.

The heater matrix is a miniture version of the cars radiator, enclosed in a plastic box behind the dash, and the fan blows through the matrix to give you heat.

Are you getting heat at all?

Im having the same problem.Iv had a heater matrix problem in my last scooby and its not this.
Bear ,is the bottom of the windscreen clearing ok?what about the side windows and rear window?
You got a leak in the car anywere??

Get yourself to Halfords and buy some anti-fog
Its a solution you rub on the windscreen to prevent the screen foggging up in the first place
Its great stuff-I use it on mine and the motorbike lid too

You might have water getting into the car as Dave said. If the car is used daily it shouldnt fog up much. Check all the carpet and boot for water

dunno if this will help :dontknow: you but i had that problem before, there should be a button on the dash that either circulates air from outside or circulates air already in the car, make sure its set to the one that circulates air from outside, cleared mine straight away.

My girlfriends 97 civic has a serious window fog problem.
As the lads said you've possibly a leak somewhere.
The civic leaks in around the boot and rear lights somewhere. Ends up with the spare tire well full of water.
Removed the rubber bung to allow the water out but still a problem, needs 5 min sittin with the fan on full before you can see out the car

@Andy... Prob not dat lad as it gets fine and hot, i suppose if anything only thing is it doesn't blow dat hard!!

@daveR...Ya just as u describe it.Clears da bottom of da window but not da top. Side + back windows also fog up!! As 4 leaks, definitely don't have any inside da car but not 2 sure about da boot, wud dat cause da prob??

@ScoobeyDoo...Ok think i have tis and tried it. Is it a blue bottle wit a strong smell of chemicals of it? Didn't stop it anyway lad but maybe i didn't use enough of it.

@Kanye...Its my daily car so use it everyday. It gets worse when it rains so maybe i have a leak.

@Marko...Know where ur on about, checked it lst wk 2 c was da hot air leakin from dere bu didn't know dat was where da filter was. Cheers!!

@Stevo..Tis may work as always have it turned on da air from inside da car. Sound.

Cheers 4 all da help guys, wil try some of ye're tips 2morro and wil let ye know if anything works...
