Windows fogging up!!

Just for a quick fix i think a cup with salt in the car will absorb some moisture.
is the radiator expansion tank full cause if its low on water the heater looses power, is it overheating slightly?
how long is this going on?

As steve said.... make sure it circulates air from outside..... will stop foggin immediatley. You'd be a amazed how many people drive round with heater set to air ciculating from inside and and fogged up windows!

fan doesnt seem strong enough if it will only clear bottom half of the windscreen.....
a leak in the boot wont be your problem IMO...

@daveR...Ya just as u describe it.Clears the bottom of the window but not the top. Side + back windows also fog up!! As 4 leaks, definitely don't have any inside the car but not 2 sure about the boot, would that cause the prob??

Yes i have a leaky booth(cant stop the fooking thing) and the windows fogged up quit fast after it started.
I tried circulating air from outside today and it seems to have made a difference already.

Will be headin 4 petrol now soon enough so wil try out da air circulating from outside.

@daveR...Good 2 hear it made a difference lad.

:multijump: :multijump: :multijump: Air circulating from outside has done da trick. Although is wasn't raining which wil be da major test it didn't fog up once especially da side and back windows which it nearly always does. Thanks 4 all da help guys...

Bear, Just a quick one for it if you can get the lend of a de-humidifier, If there is any moisture, it'l get rid of it, all you do is leave it in the car for a few hours best over night if you can, and you'l see how much water is soaked up, if the filter fill after only a couple of hours i'm afraid you'l probally have a leak as there'l be allot of moisture in the air in the car. , but if it takes the full night then you wont, it'l just be moisture gathering over the years with the car. make sure all doors are closed all windows are closed and leaving the heat running for a while cant hurt either will all help soak up the moisture. After you do this i doubt you'd have much troubles with it again for a good while, i used too valet cars and came across it quite a bit, and this always worked, Worked perfect on my old cars. Sorry not such a quick one after all.

Leave windows open a crack if you leave heater on to dry it out or your windows will be streaming... you need to let some of the hot moisture out!
