wish i cud just find 30k for this

I was watching a japanese dvd from Best motoring , and they had a battle with one of these against some evo's and whatnot ...
And everytime they showed the interior of the Spec C , it showed the rev clock which had a red warning light on it when you got near the redline , and gave a pretty annoying beep ....

anyone on here have the same thing ....

it would get on my nerves something fierce ,
than again with the weak sauce we call petrol over here, i guess no-one would be foolish enough to redline one
 
Think the light just comes on in mine. Havent and wont be going near the redline but u can set the light to come on at whatever you want so was just messing with it. maybe the noise comes on at 8-9 thousand revs :S
 
That was also posted on here a while ago. Appears to be a type 20 so very tasty but whoever fitted those side skirts should be taken out and shot :new_2gunsfiring_v1:

well ,yeah have the rev limiter on my 02 bug , basically you can set it to beep/flash or only flash to whatever revs you like .
you can set it to 3k and it will start to wreck your head as you hear it constantly , or set to about 5.5- 6k and you dont hear it as much.
help you stick to a limit when driving without having to look


or you can jus set it at 8k and never hear it .


re : car , would prob buy sommit with no engine and build a monster , :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

As Mac-Mac Said, you can pre-set the red-line beep / light to what ever setting/rpm you want :thumbsup:
