well lads just for a bit of insight into what people like and also for a bit of fun ,as above would you rather own a standard low mileage 1 owner 22b ,or a hatch spec c with 400 bhp and sorted chassis ,transmission engine etc ,be honest takin into account it would be to used not stored in a shed

id have the 22B all day long.
even though the blobeye was the last WRC championship winning car that subaru made, i just love the 22B impreza.

2 doors,those wide arches,the wheels........ it just looks angry and fresh from a tarmac rally stage

now if you could get your hands on colin's 22B, that he was given by the gaffer, that would be a very special car to own.

have to agree with ya man never got the whole 22b thing and havin drivin one in anger wasnt that impressed tbh type r just as good,havin said that because of the history would be a nice collectors car

Have driven say 5 22b's. Really are special regards wat they are. As in presence and looks/feel. But they are realy just type r from driving pleasure. And the 2.2 outta the box on factory vf23 is not very mind blowing performance wise.

hard decision(51 -49) but im sayin spec c as i feel with 13 years newer, the technology and performance ,espically with 400 ponies would be a better drive and more of a threat to anything on the road . and in white with a few lil bits of black(or carbon fibre ) trim .
