So 1000 STI's were made with DCCD. 500 sent to England, modded by Prodrive and sold as the WR1. What are the other 500? Guessing none of them are Jap?

did all of them not have it from 2005 on
and all blob jdm have it also i thought :ponder2:

I think STI's of 04 didn't have DCCD unless they were a WR1. From 05 I think they all got it and the widetrack base from the Spec C.

As in can you get a Jap STI from 04 with DCCD because I thought all the 1000 were sent to UK & Europe and all 500 in the UK were turned into the WR1 by prodrive? May aswell have called them the P2 if that's the case?

Very confused.

only 500 of the wr1 were made in total and the only reason they had dccd is because they were a limited edition to commerorate petter solberg winning the wrc, they had 320 bhp out of the tin, from 05 all imprezas were given dccd because they were the widetrack model and the only ones before this were the jdm as colm said and the wr1

the other 500 could have went to Oz , new zeland etc , if there was 1000 dccd non widetrack cars

A lad I know bought a new 04 with Dccd from Finnegans garage in Longford. It was non wide track and an Irish car. He bought a 03 the year before but change because of the dccd.

I think the colour of the WR1 was a disaster, i wouldnt buy one because of the colour solely

Ya I'm kinda the same could never just warm to it, but I guess thats part of the limited edition appeal just like all the P1's were blue, RB5's grey, RB320's black etc

I actually bought the WR1 because of its colour, its a bit more subtle than the typical blues, must be my age or something.

theres 3/4 shades of 74F,which the P1 and 22B paint code is 74F

Different tastes, and im not wanting to knock anyones WR1,
To me it was a very odd colour to produce, all other limited editions use a common (popular) colour.. But i guess with so few ever made, they were going to sell them all regardless of the colour..
Pity the WR1 wasnt red or something

Wasn't there a 1.6 available in the same colour? I believe I've seen one.

theres a rep floatin around navan too !

agreeed that red would have m,ade it an even more desirable car !
