i think this will be a bad rally for everyone with the conditions there but over the course of the year when he finds his groove in the fiesta he will be very quick

Latvala has to step up to the plate this year, there's only so many years you can get away with the old 'learning curve' excuse. The guy has serious raw speed and natural talent but too many crash test dummy moments as said above.

Some going by Ogier to have the S2000 that far up the leaderboard. Great to see Craig Breen competing up at that level too.
 
ogier crashes out and injures ingrassi ,dani sordo and petter are having a serious battle for second great racing
 
Very little snow/ice on the stages, they must have picked roads lower down the mountains. On the old stages where they had 3 or 4 surfaces on one stage they had to pick one tyre to try and suit all the conditions, leading to lots of unpredictability.

Sordo doing a great job.

The cars are a good formula, nice and agile and still provide a good spectacle. The fiesta is a lovely looking machine.
 
some crash by ogier he was carring some speed. they seriously need a comentator that can take his foot out of his mouth every now and then, :new_2gunsfiring_v1: brutal

very lucky that they werent badly hurt when he caught the hump on the inside he was a passenger after that there wasnt a hope of recovery

ye the roads today were definitely a lot more normal.but ya never know for the rest of the weekend col de turini still to come thats always a very unpredictable stage

agree about sordo he is a great driver,and the fiesta is a great looking car with just the castrol livery
 
Agree with the comments re commentary, bloody awful......... but great to have the WRC to look forward too again :multijump:

it will improve though as eurosport had only 9 days to prepare for the takeover of the commentry so give a rally or 2 and it should be fine
