WRC97001 article

Such a stunning re-build to 'as new' spec... which can't have been easy due to the scarcity of fresh/new parts.

Oh to have the money to commission Prodrive to restore one of these for you.

Roll on lotto win!!

Jamie man you wouldn't be happy getting prodrive to do it for ya , think of all the cold nights in the shed and the skinned knuckles and making stuff wrong having to do it again you would want to do it yourself man even if you were loaded :mechanic: :multijump: :multijump:

stop dec if jamie won the lotto he'd still take 6 fooking years :icon_biggrin: ocd at its best

Hed have the time and money to take even longer :subaru:
Any idea where they would have sorced some off th eparts from Ireland :dontknow: :dontknow: :dontknow: :dontknow:

Yeah you're probably right Dec.

But I'd give up my job if I won the lotto... work full time on project... go the whole hog and source/fit all WRC parts on it... and commission Prodrive to re-buiild an ex-works car I'd have purchased too. :smokesubaru

Then I'd have a real thing.. and a near perfect rep. The twins as they'd be foundly referred too! Life would be good! :icon_biggrin:

A lot of the privateers AFAIK. The like of McKinstrys & Cronin and a few of the other lads who've run S5's over the years have a fair collection of parts apparently.
