Xenon light issue

For any of you guys with these lights on your car, maybe you have seen this issue. sometimes my drivers side dip beam wil just turn off while driving, i notice it when in traffic at night behind someone i only see the reflection of 1. if i switch the lights off and back on again it comes on fine. Im thinking it might be a wiring issue more the the bulb as it seems like it only turns off when its on for a while.

Any ideas?
 
hey dan,are they xenon or hid .... i had the same problem with my dc2..but it had hids it turned out to be the starter for th hid....if thats any help
 
Swap the bulbs around, thats the first test, see will the problem change sides. If it does well its the bulb thats getting dodgy.. ... i suspect its a bulb Dan
If problem still stays on same side then its either ballasts or ignitors...
you should be able to switch them from left to right aswell, one at a time to rule each out.

But bulbs first, and then next easiest to test... but i reckon its a Bulb on the way out

Thanks for tips lads they are factory xenon headlights, ill try swap them around and see if the problem transfers across
