Xenon on the way out!

Hi All,

Had condensation on my light. The light ended up not working. Took the light out and dried it out.

The bulb was smashed inside. B4 RSK sorted me out with bulbs :thumbsup: cheers Mark

But now the light is a different colour. More yellow than xenon 6000k. When i start them up in the morning they are the same colour for a few seconds but then goes yellow.

Ballast pack on the way out becuse of the moisture? :dontknow:

I had the same problem.. Mine went yellow like that, started up fine but then turned yellow.. They blew then a couple of weeks later.. Think they are probably just at the end of their life..
 
Must be the time for it mine went there last week, I brought new bulds :dance:
turned out the buld was fine it was the ballast :doh:
have a new one ordered. At least I have two spare bulds now too

Those bulbs i gave you are the standard 5k legacy bulbs, the ones in yours are definitely aftermarket ones, maybe more than 6k, they seem a lot more bluer than my new ones and they are 6k
 
Yea i think your right Mark, I just thought thats what they came with :hammerhead:

My xenon spots are 6000k so might just sort my self out with new bulbs..where did you get yourz? :thumbsup:
