rob , is the 400 lbft something to do with the spec-c internals as well as the meth ,as in they make more usually over a sti

I honestly couldn't tell you for sure Ross. I think the Spec C's seem to make a little more than a standard sti because of more aggressive cams but that could be wrong. The massive increase in torque is down to the addition of the methanol, just eliminates any sign of detonation around the midrange torque area so the timing can be advanced massively. The 400ftlbs is conservative as well, its not on the edge of the timing and does allow for slight variations which I wanted so I'm happy out. Joe reckons he knows how to get it to peak above 350bhp while maintaining the torque so I'm happy out. Bare in mind the only mods are exhaust, walbro, 3 port, fpr and panel filter so i think it quite good. Was toying with the idea of induction kit but I want the engine bay to appear as standard as possible. I'll only go induction if I ever upgrade the turbo, possibly after the antilag destroys it

He was trying to convince me to do meth aswell, has some good software in the works which may allow for it! i only have my induction kit on a few weeks and the noise is already annoying me sometimes! meth ftw!

You'd hardly get away with storing meth anywhere in your apartment block? And for a daily driver going to the petrol station becomes a nightmare. Bringing 10l with your wherever you go and then your measuring jug as well. It's a fantastic way to boost performance but a nightmare to live with on a daily basis.

thats the only problems with it, but switchable maps might help make it more bearable!

Try not to sell car in 2013.
As things went quite in the job, and was let go last week.
Had lots of big plans but if I can keep the car id be happy.
Might have to buy a van.
Do small jobs on car that are time consuming, but not expensive.

Get the oil changed.
Install splitter
Install sti winglets.
Install intercooler red silicone hose.
Keep it clean and tidy.

If get back working,

Get Mapped
Install grimspeed 3port boost solenoid.
Install prodrive sports cat
Install prodrive centre delete section.
Install Walbro 255 fuel pump.
Purchases and install sti up pipe.
Purchases and install 550 injectors.
Brakes. (Brembo)
Suspension. (BC)
Wheels.

has to be to finally break it and sell it....
not driven in 15 months and no plans to drive it anytime soon.
i'll post a breaker thread in due course!!

Plan this year is to take the car off the road and keep it for track use only. Something else as a daily run-about.

just got my tax renewal... thats kinda f*cking me up now for the plans this year...
the price of tax would get me a full new H&S exhaust or a crazy good turbo FFS!!

NCT next week and use the car more often.

Oh I might wash it and post some pics....
