1) GLANZA DRIVING AR5EH@L3S THINKING THERE UNTOUCHABLE LOOKING FOR RACES
there are quite a few Glanzas in Ireland equiped with TD04 turbos running 230BHP, so dont think all of them are not a challenge. A car that weighs 860KG with that sort of power can be dangerous to a scooby.

200 bhp Glanza will embarress a lot scoobies...... 200 bhp at 890kg is 224 bhp per tonne

impreza 300bhp at 1400kg is 212 bhp per tonne..these are the figures that matters but as soon as you come to a bend ..he slam into a river or ditch or wall which ever comes first!

So what is the use in having all that power and not be able to go around corners. The only time it may worry a scoob is from a rolling start from about 30mph onwards. 12bhp per tonne between these 2 cars is nothing and would be hardly noticeable.

no use... didnt i just say it wouldnt go around bends? just making a point about power to weight..their shopping trolleys anyway

haha, cant hack sh1t on the bends for shure, my mate had a Glanza, dropped 40mm and still look like a boat from behind going round corners! ther apparently won of the dodgiest yokes on the bends. but still all that Bhp off the line is just too much for a light Fwd car, spinning into 5th gear isnt my idea of fast! while those wasted horses are running a-muck on the tarmac, the 4wd scooby cruises to victory! but then again theres rolling starts. at the end of the they id rather have a comfortable fast scooby than a slightly faster bone shaking rattle box of a Glanza!

Lads ye are forgetting the most important figuer

It dosn't matter how much BHP they are getting at the fly , if you can't
transfer that to the wheels as usable power it ain't a whole lot of use.................yes it will be faster than standard
but that's about it.

Nuff said i think

Niall.

1) Old git with cap---I always meet this auld fecker doing 20-30 on the back roads
2) Headlight Breakers -- People who break at on coming headlights
3) People who don't pull into the hard shoulder when you come up behind them and then SIT on the white line......WTF is up with that, you then have to give it a little bit more of a squirt to get around them because you know they will speed up as you go past then they flash the lights at you.............. :wall:
4) People who like overtaking large groups of cars coming into a bend...... BMW, Mercs, Sales Reps etc :shoot:
5) The boys in fluorescent yellow with the hair dryers who hide in the bushes
