Hi,
I am thinking of trading my toyota corolla g6 http://www.carzone.ie/search/Toyota/Corolla/G6--6-sp/200847190933812/advert

For this

The guy selling the impreza doesn't says its been drove in ireland for 1year or 2, so I am worried about detonation,
Are the wrx as bad as the sti's for not adjusting to the different fuel?

What do ye think of it?
He said about 3k in the difference so thats seems ok,

If I drove up to look at this, would someone in Dublin do me a huge favour and come out an look at it,
I wouldnt know much about Subaru's engine wise and thats my biggest worry, :hammerhead:

dont drive the subaru in the same fashion as the corolla anyway, dont know much about the detonation problems but id doesn't look like such a bad deal. is it a garage ?

dont much like the front on that impreza,, duno?? id keep looking... ill tell you what tho i liked and still like the G6,, great looking car

there a way nicer one on pistonheads, seen it there today.....it was an sti aswell.
up in donegal for 6grand.
theres a few in the for sale section here aswell.
 
i rang him today asing him for a warranty on the engine and gearbox but no luck!!

The thing is im looking to trade my car car in for a subaru as its hard to sell a car now!!
Hes giving me a decent deal like,

I'd definatally put it back to standard, Subaru's and aftermarket bodykits is a no no in my eyes.... Looks very boy racerish

back to a version 6 bumper,
still sporty but not over the top.

the dealers are in the same bout so drive a hard bargen if you want that car.
sure they cant sell cars either at the mo.

but bear in mind, itl be hard for you to sell on after aswell, if you dont like it.
make sure you really want that car, impulse buying :naughty:
 
i'll give ya my honest opinion mate!!!
dont touch that place with a barge pole IMHO,
dont want to offend any lads on the site---always a sticky point is commenting on other dealers....
from experience i just wouldnt....

as for AA carcheck...its about 350 euro for the checks which is as thorough a test as can be done(legal representation if required)...
cheaper for members....
i personally cant do it as we have a technical department for this....
if ur stuck i could look at the car but not on his premises....
try some of the dealers on this site..might give a good price!!!!

as for the front bumper....
not for me but as previously said...each to their own
