www.caristhestar.com TV, Film and Advertising work for Club Members

At CaristheStar.com we provide a link between private owners of vehicles and the TV, Film and Advertising industries. Production Companies have a constant requirement for vehicles that fit the story line or image that they are trying to create. The 'ideal' vehicle is often in private hands, and Production Companies will pay owners a fee for the use of their vehicle. Through our website we provide an indexed catalogue of such vehicles which can be searched by these Production Companies.

We are always looking for new vehicles to add to our site. If you have a car, motorcycle, commercial vehicle, military vehicle, caravan, boat, aircraft or anything else which may be of interest, then you can apply to register - free of any charge.

We are particularly interested in vehicles based in Northern Ireland and Eire as we have a shortage in these areas.

Please find below a list of frequently asked questions.

Please pass on our details to your fellow clubs members. We look forward to receiving your new registrations to our site.

What will the vehicle be used for?
The use to be made of your vehicle will be agreed with you in advance, It may be used as a 'Static Prop' (for example parked in a street scene), or may be driven by the actors, extras or indeed yourself.

How is my vehicle selected?

How much will I earn?
You will provide us with a minimum fee for which you and your vehicle would be available for a day.

Will I be involved with the filming?
Yes, we always recommend that you accompany the vehicle whilst it is on location, so you will be where the action is.
