Love that colour. Looks like someone left the iron on a wee bit too long tho
I never noticed that before! Don't know if its optical illusion or behind the fabric panels or what - can't see it in person anyway! Only on this site would people notice every little thing!

Are they not standard seats????
I don't know if they are or not - they were there when I bought it :dontknow:

Re: Prodrive WRX for sale

Afraid they are standard.... Not an optical illusion either... they're aftermarket iron on prodrive logos and whoever did them burnt your seats.

Looks like a Tefal :1poke:

Right so "Prodrive bucket seats" should be "Bucket seats with Prodrive stickers"... :sucks:

Re: Prodrive WRX for sale

even if it was a prodrive edition wrx its over priced, you can buy an 02/03 sti for that type or money i know of one guy a mate of mine sellen a 02 type uk sti for 5k, granted it has no nct but has some toys :cuckoo:

spec list looks big but could be reduced by 2 3rds if the waffle was left out, no offence intended :icon_lol:

Re: Prodrive WRX for sale

The only relevant comment here is pointing out the seats are not special edition. None the rest of the posts are helpful.

This appears to be a well sorted & specced wrx.

Looks clean from the photos
Full clifford alarm
17 inch speedline wheels with nearly new dunlop tyres
Prodrive pack fitted (which gives increase to 265bhp by the way)
Full year nct still on it.
Subaru service history including recent timing belt.

The lad is more than within his rights to ask for €6k for the car...if it doesn't sell & he wants advice on a price for it then he can ask but until then can you please keep the comments to yourself

Re: Prodrive WRX for sale

pointing out the obvious now may help him sell quicker at a glance most people will dismiss it due to the price as the market at the moment is very poor as we all know. And modded sti`s can be got for the same or less money as i said im not trying to offend just an honest opinion.

delete my posts if people feel it will affect sale ,no offence intended

Re: Prodrive WRX for sale

Thanks for the comments lads, to be honest I don't expect to get €6k for it - that's for the ONO on price means - I'm not going to say how low I would let it go for but I have to set a high price to give myself room to go down - if I started low there would be nowhere to go. Here I'll set it more realistic as a startpoint then - €5k...

Every sensible offer will be considered!

I know you could get STi for around this price but you have to remember first time or young buyers can NOT get insurance or get ridiculous quotes for an STI (same as I couldn't when I got this) so a WRX is what they have to start off with for a few years so even though they could get an STI for same price they could not actually do it.

Regarding waffle, yes I know there is waffle there (removed 5 lines) - I should have removed that for this site, but it was just copy/paste of ad from general car sales sites who do need to know everything a car has.

Also sometimes here we forget that we are used to dealing with very fancy modified motors and getting things cheap but remember general public pays a lot more for absolute bog standard pieces of junk cars and I would hope this is better than those cars so price for general public may be possible...

Re: Prodrive WRX for sale

PlanB used to own this car. He put the spliter the wheels and the WRC carbon mirrors on the same time I had my black prodrive bug and he fitted the prodrive iron on logos the same time I fitted mine also.

Very nice car and some nice bits on her. PlanB looked after it well when he had it. The colour is unusual too. Best of luck with the sale.

You're right to go in high fella. I know a lot os Subarus are selling for small money but I wouldn't feel pressured to drop the price, especially if you're not in a great rush to sell it. It's a lovely looking car... and well speced as Brian pointed out. I love the colour too... the first Impreza turbo I drove was a green one... so I've always had a soft spot!

GLWTS!

Re: Bugeye WRX for sale - price drop to **€3,500 ONO**

Now that's something I could drive! Is it me or is that a pretty uncommon colour!?

Anyone know a way I can fudge the insurence and get a quote lol

Yea ring your insurance company and fudge them with this... Tell them your a 98 year old male with a FULL no claims bonus, tell them your having an END of life crisis and you wish to fulfill your dreams by buying a very fast car from a lad off ISDC for 5-6k.. when they ask if you have any medical history say NO (not since you had a heart attack after been caught by GARDAI having a threesome with two 18 year old women in the back seat of the car that you now intending on buying). When asked if you take drugs say NO not unless they class viagra as drugs but explain to them, that you only take them to stop you rolling out of the bed.

If they ask if the vehicle is modified in any way say no and DO NOT tell them you intend on putting a Nitrous Oxide kit in the boot, for when your overtaking at 200kmh. If they ask if you have a car alarm say no they are useless, because you lost your hearing 10 years ago

When you get accepted and quoted they will ask how you intend on paying for the policy. At this point you can say that you will drop into them on thursday afternoon after you leave woodies diy (because you go there every week to avail of your 10% OAP discount, to buy pot plants and other useless CRAP objects)

Other than that tell them its a grand clean car :multijump:

Re: Bugeye WRX for sale - price drop to **€3,500 ONO**
