2015 Honda Type R Thread

The new Honda Civic TypeR is available from my local Honda Dealer for €49250 and €51450 for the GT pack. Metallic paint will be an extra €650. That's Vat and VRT. Only charges not included is delivery/dealer charges. The RRP is €48750 and an extra €2200 for the GT Pack. Road tax will be €570 a year.

The production factory won't support demonstrators or press cars for the Irish market. All cars will be customer order only.

Over fifty grand for a civic. You'd want your head examined spending that kinda money

A new Focus ST with all the bells and whistles is nearly €48000 on the road. Imagine what the new RS will cost? The new STI will probably be around the 55k mark on the road here and the road tax will be €2350 a year. Reviews from the UK are very positive for the Civic.

At least the new focus rs is four wheel drive unlike the civic which looks like it was styled by a hormonal fifteen year old. And it's front wheel drive. Seriously Honda move on. Look at the amazing previous type r models.

It is over priced @ 49,250 vs the Golf R price of 42,445
Especially as the Type R is 155 pounds cheaper than the Golf in the U.K.
VW Ireland really got the price adjusted correctly now for the car and I think it has worked for them as you see quiet a lot of them around and im sure you will more so than the civic but sure that has always been the norm here
I wonder wich one will be more Reliable as the years go on

That's just typical rip off Ireland. Someone from Honda Europe emailed me the RRP for all markets. Some dealers are adding on an extra grand or two on top of a carbon GT version.

The new Nissan 370z will also be available from €41000 before dealer and delivery charges.
 
Ford Focus rs is going to be about forty five K and it's a world market car and guess what this type r is a very limited run they are replacing it in twenty seventeen with one for the world market. I wonder where Honda got that idea... How far from the tree they have fallen as regards vision and original ideas

sales will be thin on the ground I.d say a few diesels with spoilers and rear defusers is all you'll see
