It was an alright day!
Paddy's day was a bit of a mad one, A few sudden brake failures led to a spin and an off! and in finding my limits, a had a few more spins!

So I was under orders to be on my best behaviour today! No problem, I thought
First corner, straight out of the pits, on Cold tyres, the turbo spools up and she went right around,

What a tit! this was the warm up lap!
Took off again, and all was grand, coming passed the pits and the pit lads were gesturing for me to calm down, (i was calm)
I used to have a lot of leaway with them, as I hadn't spun or cocked up in years (before paddy's day) So now they had to be strict with me!!
Kinda spoiled the fun a bit, My front tyres are just Pirelli P6000's (road tyres) and they weren't really up for serious hard driving, I tried the track tyres on but they are to wide, (i didn't realise that when I bought them)
So lots of understeer, scrubed the outside edge off the front tyres, and they over heated and turned to playdoh after a few laps!
This driving normal stuff (in a straight line) is quite boring
To top it all off, the boost controller needed to be turned up more and more all day to maintain 1.1 bar, oil and everything was grand, (same happened on paddy's day), so

just thought "it'll be grand"
It wasn't, last session, Showing off to my sister's friend, and car got real smokey, not tyre smoke, nasty blue smoke, accompanied by a noisey turbo!
Lots of smoke!
I do know that at one stage in the cars build (well before CDA), the engine fell over and the turbo that was bolted to the side of it took the brunt off the impact, I think the compressor housing might have been slightly bend and as everything heated up maybe the comp wheel was rubbing the inside, and she finally had enough!
Cock!
SO new R888's for the front and a new feckin turbo before she goes out again! FFS

Never ends! forester still needs a new set of 235/40/18" track tyres, and new carbon lorraine track pads (about a grand total) before she see's the track again!
