Engine build advise/ where and what to start with ..

Ok, so I've been toying with this idea for a while.
1st disclaimer- I am not a mechanic - I am a panel beater so have some very very basic idea of these engines and have some very minor experience in removing and replacing some components, i.e. intercooler, alternator,turbo, exhaust that type of thing.
So dumb down answers..
So, car is 2006 legacy wr ltd with EJ20x engine duel avcs, and 5eat box.
I'm looking for strong reliable 350-380 hp at the wheels.
I like the characteristics of my engine, very quick on boost and pulls nice.
Just want mooorr powa.
So where do I start? What's the best route to go?
Get a used engine? Get a short block( I've included the options from ICP)and start from there?
Are any of these a good option?
I don't want to get into changing wiring loom ect. Would like to keep tmic, standard turbo placement etc.
Or am I just mad?

That thick wall ej20 short block is a perfect option for that power ,
11mm arp head stud kit (may not even be needed but will allow for more power in the future ) good set of head gaskets, light skim on the heads before refitting,

Now, just so I'm on the right track... That's me reusing my existing heads of my current engine or getting another set of the same duel avcs heads?

I have done a uprated fuel pump, fungi racing 340 LPH pump.
Any idea on which injectors?

Ah, the oul modified knifey spoony.. I like playing knifey spoony meself, but only on body mods and interior- this will be my first knifey spoony on go-go parts. I'm absolutely gonna fu*k sh*t up, but getting info and advice from those who have played and won at knifey spoony before is gonna help keep my fu*k ups to a minimum.

Savage. Keeping an eye on this. Also don't forget re air in air out I.e air intake and downpipe+exhaust setup. A responsive engine would benefit from that.

And as the lads mentioned, chat to your mapper as they would have a general idea where to put the money on parts
