No2(a) rule of flight club ,, and most definitely keep your foot off the brakes!

A friend of mine spent six months in a French hospital recovering from his injuries after a car he was a passenger in landed with it's wheels locked!!!!!  :(

It's on the road between Ballina & Birdhill.

Freaky!! When you told the story first and only mentioned Co Tipp, that was the place I thought of. Had a bit of a hairy moment there myself the first time I travelled that road a few years ago!

count to 17 man

my mate hit a hump backed bridge at 26.5 kmp and got so much air that he phoned home (while in the air) looking for his passport. He said he could feel the air getting colder as his impreza 1.6 gl with induction kit soared through the air.
Never under estimate the subaru family, please dont take the p1ss,he speaks the truth :p

Hairy alright, so the sign has been missing a few years? :omg:

It sounds like Tipp. Co. Council should have done something about it long ago, I'm sure it's not only us who have had such moments there, though we're probably luckier than most in that we were driving Subarus at the time??? (Or is that why we had them?  ;))

Anyway, thank goodness for  :subaru: AWD!

17 seconds. Was this slight hump a cliff edge??
I'd say if he drove off the Cliffs of Moher he wouldn't stay airbourne that long!!

I drove by there last night, on my way back home from Galway (taking "the scenic route") but I was feeling too tired to put it to the test.

Next time maybe?  :nana:
