Welcome to the Club fella...as said the 1.6 is as good a car as the others...might not be as fast but still a Scooby I used to have a B4 but recession dictated that I downsize and now I drive a 1.6 wagon, great car. It just passed the NCT two days ago (its up for sale if you are interested, it's cheap too :icon_grin:) <<<shameless plug :lol:

A quick update for all, I'm going to look at my Impreza on Sunday, very excited about the whole thing! :multijump:

Good man :thumbsup: I started with a 2 litre and now have a 1.6.......and am half looking at a 0.6 now....!
1.6 isnt the fastest in the world but it's a subaru and it will make you smile. The grip will amaze you.

Hi all,

I went to look at my 1.6 Impreza today. TOTAL dissapointment. Mechanicaly it was perfect, '98 with only 60K on the clock! Unfortunatley the body was in tatters, I don't think there was a panel that didn't have a dent in it! So the search continues...........

If anyone knows of a decent classic shape with good mileage on it please do let me know! Particularly interested in a wagon (I've always liked to be a bit different!)

Not much i can say that has already been said but best of luck finding a scooby, be patient and make sure the one your buying is the one you want and your not buying it for the sake of buying it :thumbsup: :subaru:
