I paid 1.35 per liter, so 73 to fill her up on saturday, and she's empty now,
I don't mind 18mpg, I did a couple of airport runs, I just wish it cost 50 to fill!
Obviously driving slower isn't the answer!
So, What is it that has petrol prices rising, and world is settled enough at the moment (ie. no pending 3rd world war)
The taxs aren't creaping up with out notice,
The lads behind the counters in the service stations aren't getting more money,
So that only leaves the lads that own the oil companys!
So, I was chatting to a lad when I was over in the UK a couple of weeks ago, we were thinking that if you can single out an oil company,
Maybe boycott one companys service stations, so hopefully there sales would decrease, hence having to drop prices untill sale pick up!
All other companies would have to follow suit, (inc Maxol
)
Obviously, little old ISDC wouldn't be able to do much by it's self, but all the motoring sites, and even the likes of rollercoaster.ie (huge house wifes site) and we could tell alot of people!
Even spread across to scoobynet?
Thoughts?
