Hello Mark,
I'm very sorry to hear of this encounter
I taught this type of "Rage", had subsided over the last couple of years, but I do not drive enough to see if it has or not
You were right not to engage with a traveler, as they can be very erratic at the best of times........
I do not know why this type of rage still goes on
I came upon a crime scene just before Christmas, which was attributed to road rage
A fast food delivery driver was going up the Belgard road to Tallaght on a dual carriage way. When he strayed from his lane into the other one he clipped another car..... When both cars came to a stop at some traffic lights the person he struck got out of his car and proceeded to take a lump hammer to the delivery driver.........
The last I heard, the delivery driver was in a coma on life support..... with no chance of a recovery
No dent on a car deserves this
Crazy IMO
I personally do not get excited when I experience frustrating driving (not implying you have done anything wrong)
But when people cut me up etc..... I am just happy they did not drive into me
And I think....... How do these people get out of bed, get dressed, go to work, etc...... and this gives me a laugh...... stopping me from getting annoyed
Again Very Sorry to Hear of This Story....... At least no one was hurt
Cheers,
Michael
