Hello Mark,

I'm very sorry to hear of this encounter :wall:

I taught this type of "Rage", had subsided over the last couple of years, but I do not drive enough to see if it has or not

You were right not to engage with a traveler, as they can be very erratic at the best of times........

I do not know why this type of rage still goes on :dontknow: :dontknow: :dontknow:

I came upon a crime scene just before Christmas, which was attributed to road rage :wall:

A fast food delivery driver was going up the Belgard road to Tallaght on a dual carriage way. When he strayed from his lane into the other one he clipped another car..... When both cars came to a stop at some traffic lights the person he struck got out of his car and proceeded to take a lump hammer to the delivery driver......... :cuckoo: :cuckoo: :cuckoo:

The last I heard, the delivery driver was in a coma on life support..... with no chance of a recovery :wall:

No dent on a car deserves this

Crazy IMO :cuckoo: :shock2: :cuckoo:

I personally do not get excited when I experience frustrating driving (not implying you have done anything wrong)

But when people cut me up etc..... I am just happy they did not drive into me

And I think....... How do these people get out of bed, get dressed, go to work, etc...... and this gives me a laugh...... stopping me from getting annoyed

Again Very Sorry to Hear of This Story....... At least no one was hurt

Cheers,

Michael

Those stories are shocking lads, as mad and all as i get behind the wheel at times it never amounts to more that shouting inside to car to myself! Although i have a little toy for extreme cases, hadn't had to use it yet though!

Your totally in the wrong, not that poor inbred knacker, you are the one driving a noisey white souped up car  That Nally fella up in sligo or where ever had the rite idea, shoot the fookers,
I have to say it is a very frustrating situation, and i know myself that i would feel like a coward after not getting out, but it is the best decision, you could be dead now or badly hurt, or up in court yourself for road rage or hurtn or killing the aromatic cont

padraic nally is king.......... :icon_pray:

somthing simillar happened myself about 3 months ago with 5 fat pikeys in a oo silver astra...they caught up to me going thru town and nearly hit me and then proceeded tailgating me and screeching there tyres and waving fists at me and roaring to drive on.... i was doing 50km in a 50km zone and then they mounted footpath to over take me and i slowed down to let them off but they just came up one side off me and kept roaring at me to drive on....so keep going down the town with them on my right roaring until they met a parked car and then they pulled back... i then started headed for garda station direction but they didnt follow.... i didnt get there full plate so i did feck all about it and i was on my own so my word against 5.....

i wasnt right for the day after it...
