Emmmmmm ......well when the car was standard i was so certain
I was getting 15 mph top end , infact as i kinda explained in previous post it wasn't,
close but no ciggar.

Anywhere around the 14 mph would be a very accurate top end.


But after changing to bigger turbo and all the usuall stuff etc.........
she's alot quicker between the gears but top end suffers and it dose so in quiet a strange way.

The max now is a bit over 13 mph but once it reaches 13 mph which it dose quickly it totally dies
there's just no power left.

When she was standard , she simply just kept on accelerating & on & on till it got there ,
now it shoot's up to 13 mph and limps the rest..............which means you normally run out of road first.

Im sure a longer 5th would sort this but i would also need to upgrade engine internals .

There you go now Dagnut, you can safely go over to the dark side and buy yourself an EVO. So Paddy Scooby and my mates car must have been driving along in a vacuum to get to the speeds they did. :icon_razz:

His Apexi may have read 246kmh I'm not calling him a liar, just saying they aren't accurate I had one my self told me I was doing 235kmh in a 178bhp Vzr. I never praised the EVO, just said it was faster top end due to gearing, answering the OP on his question as to why a gear with more power would be slower.

No Scruff not at all............ we all know two cars, same engine, same version, can and will
produce differen't speeds power etc...What we really need to do is line up Paddy Scooby , Your Mate & Me :tongue:
and have a blast.

I reckon we will have 3 differen't readdings but probably cross the line, all about the same time :smile:

Yeah, I know that road, I know a guy who had his Type R at nearly 160mp.............Oh no, here we go again :lol:
 
im sure some one on here has a type r with the 280km dials in it ,just ask him and ill test it :multijump:
