just a couple of pics of my new bus with a few bits i done

I was looking at this one a while ago as a possable buy but then the trip got cut sort and other plays where made for the money I did have. She slod very quickly in any case. Theres been a few others though that I've seen on piston heads. :subaru:

Love the Hawkeye and looks sweet in black. I like the the roof vent and the stainless mesh on the front.

Just dont the wheels at all, They're a nice wheel just not on that car. I think they look too wide for the car and the tyres don't look wide enough for such a wide rim. Also dont like the stickers, they look a bit too boy racer-ish for me.

each to their own i suppose

I see where you are coming from Phil!
And I'd usually be saying the same things, but I just feckin love the wide wheels!
I would dial in plenty of negative camber to help cornering and set the tops of the wheels in under the arches!
About 2 - 2.5 deg negative on front and 1.5 on the back,
Pretty agressive on the front, but I gather the car won't be doing huge mileage!
Now just bolt an MD321t (@ moderate boost) , a set of 650cc's and a fuel pump onto her, and get her mapped up!
She'll be well in excess of 400+bhp and well over 400lb/ft of torque
The drive by wire throttle (like mine) is tricky to map smoothly, none that I have used have managed to have her run smoothly just yet!
So choose carefully,
I'm loving it Tommy keep up the good work,
Dan

thanks the dan she will be the muts nuts when its finished a long long way to go before been finished
but ill get there looking at bying a new cosworth eddition now as well see how that goes
the max mileage i would put on the scooby in a year would be 1500 to 2000 mile a year max
only one of my toys for an od weekend depending what is on

Dan are you sure mapping is problem??, Tom Rb320 has a safe engine map due to standard internals of around 400/400. adj regulator and a td06 turbo like mine, and he has none of these driving issues?

Sorry Tom :545:, the car is lovely mate,
think the Hawkeyes are my new favourite, well may you wear.

I love the fact with the newage cars that you can run mad offset wheels, some mental set ups out there, say if it was lowered and camber set on coil overs it would look even more mental but then again its nice to have it driveable, nothing worse then dragging the ground and been shook to death, or eating the insides off tires

I have discussed this with everybody I have ever come across that have drive by wire!
And, most lads don't realise there is a problem, even though there may be one, but a good few lads say that since I mentioned it, they now notice it all the time!
I think I must be over sencetive to it, but there is defo an issue there!
I was chatting JGM, I told him that Bob Rawle, AndyF, Powerststion and Scooby Clinic have all mapped it and have not been able to over come this, Although AndyF did seem to get the best out of her in terms of responce and drivability, It is still a bit wobbly, not near as bad as it has been in the past though!
But Simon seems very convident that he can find and resolve the issue! So I'm looking forward to that tweek!
