Leggy is in for Nct today

Well yup, twas a blown bulb - - - - and the Right hand front abs sensor. Does anyone know Are these expensive??? Or where too get one???

Just spent €240 puttin in the part and its not the problem, The diagonistics said it was front right ABS sensor so bought one and put it in and its not it,???? What now??? I've no more money too put into it. The abs light is staying on. Any idea's, I'm awfull down hearted about it at the minute!!!!!!! :icon_cry:
 
You might have to get it plugged in to a diognostics mechine to reset the light. I'd say the problem was as said the last time and you ECU just needs to be reset for the new part.
 
Did you try resetting the ECU man? Plug the battery out for about 20 mins and plug it back in... Worth a try anyway :)
 
Its goin back for the diagnostics at 2. i rang the garage and told them too in case they didn't. I hope thats all it is, Worst part is, i'm in dub and car is in sligo and i've only over the phone stuff, Its cat, Fair play too my dad he's bringin it everywhere and keepin me updated without complaints. But unfortunately he know very little about the mechanics of cars. But If i could only give him some karma.
 
Right, They turned off the light, Took it out the road, and it came back on. Saying the same thing. Front Right ABS Sensor. Anyone got a clue ??? They have too wait till tomorrow to spend more time on it and see whats goin on. Its in a scooby garage. Please!!! :pray:

If you get the car back down to dublin John, then get ciaran (RS-RA) on the site to have a look and he'll sort it for ye... He's close to where your living...
 
Mark, Spot on. ThaTS THE PART IT IS, I was in with them doing a rolling diagnostics and after investigating thats what it was, saw it and its wel worn, Be ordering part on monday if i don't get one before. Finally. But the sensor was also gone and it had creatd a lip along the flat surface on it. So it had too be changed. :multijump: Delighted. I'll have my car Fully Nct'd within the week. :thumbsup:
