E5 is 99 octane. You said in a different thread that your car is a 94 WRX? If that's correct, then just running E5 in your car will be enough, as Japan used 98 octane petrol then. :thumbsup:

No e5 in Athlone, graage gets ther fuel from Galway depot which don't stock
e5 is in Dublin depot and they won't deliver to Athlone. Pure crap.

Anyone know about e5 around donegal for rally weekend in next couple of wks
 
me in castletownbere, and herself works in centra and they are sending a guy down today to check their tanks to see if it can take E5 petrol YEAH!!...... fingers crossed!! hopefully no more spins to bantry to get petrol!

None in Donegal that i know of but down in Burt suppose to have high octane stuff :thumbsup:
 
Castletownbere - Centra (Great Gas) was passed today for E5 - will be in the pumps in 2 weeks :))

E5 is now been rolled out to all pertol stations around ireland starting from next week.. no longer have to hunt for Maxol stations!!! :thumbsup:

Huh, as in all petrol stations from Topaz to Shell ETC are all selling E5?

Interesting. I wonder will any of the rest of them proclaim its 99 octane though?

If they do I'd be happy enough to try a tank of their juice in my car & watch the knocklink. Let me know if theres more info & I'll happily guinea pig this :thumbsup:
 
stations have to state and show the offical E5 tags and sticks on there pumps! if you dont see them its not E5!
 
Yeah but as per my previous test on E5 from Applegreen that certainly wasn't 99 octane.

There appears to be a difference between Maxol E5 (which they openly claim in writing is 99 octane) & E5 other stations are selling at the moment :ponder2:
